In searching for things to blog about today 2 stories hit me. Why do companies have to pull stuff like this during the Holidays? One of the biggest affiliate programs on the net announced another new commission cut (or restriction) the other company closed their affiliate program and bailed without paying affiliates.

Dave Naylor reports that Dada Mobile closed down their program on Tradedoubler and did not pay the outstanding commissions to their affiliates. Watch out for them, I think they are still on CJ, Azoogle and other networks. In true Dave Naylor style he writes: Dadamobile f*** you.

Meanwhile Amazon, who seems to be making a habit of changing the terms of the affiliate agreements for for their best performing affiliates, in ways that reduce and restrict affiliate commissions just did it again. Essentially the new change could make the Amazon partnership pretty worthless for some of their associates. The first round of TOS changes was back in October and now they have done it again.
