The Cure for Google Adwords Affiliate Landing Page Problems
I really hate to blog about problems without being able to offer solutions. Wednesday I blogged Google AdWords Algo Change Targets Affiliates? There were some tips included in that post if you read the links I provided. But today I want to give more concrete instructions on how affiliates can improve their Google Adwords landing page score. Since I don’t consider myself an Adwords guru, I will point you to the Geek Affiliate Blog which offers what sounds like solid advice.
Landing Pages and Pay-Per-Click: A New Content Outlet at GeekAffiliate “The simple truth is that most affiliate landing pages fail these three tests. Most just rehash the same content, the product’s sales page. Those that ask for user’s information (the typical squeeze page) present nothing more than a simple “we’ll never sell your information” privacy policy. And many landing pages are not part of the overall site. This is why such pages end up with low QS values.
So what is an affiliate advertiser supposed to do?”
Barry over at Search Engine Roundtable offers more in-depth advice about Improving Your Google AdWords Quality Score which includes getting a new domain to get the Adwords spider to come back and re-evaluate your score.
