When I went to the EcomXpo I was too busy schmoozing in the chat room to make it to any of the seminars. Just found a link to the main Affiliate Marketing Panel session titled “The New Affiliate World“. Not sure if the public is supposed to be able to view these for free after the show. Hope the folks at the Xpo don’t mind me sharing this link. I just listened to and watched the seminar after I discovered it today. There’s really some pretty good info.

Declan Dunn moderated the panel that features Linda Woods, the President of PartnerCentric, James Martell and Ola Edvardsson. Linda Woods presentation is merchant focused, the other 2 are affiliate centered. Linda talks about Must Have’s for starting and growing a successful affiliate program including - Search is King how to leverage search in your program, PR and blogs for program exposure and much more. James discusses his methods for generating natural search affiliate sites. Ola shares how to take your affiliate business to the next level. Then at the end Declan leads an active and EXTREMELY informative Q&A session. Merchants as well as affiliates that missed this seminar should tune in now in case the Xpo removes this link.
