Typically when I think click fraud, I think competitors or bots clicking. I’m sure that “click on my Adsense link traffic exchanges” have been around for some time and there are probably lots of them. I just never thought about it and have never seen one. Imagine the impact for affiliates that are advertising with Adwords and pay out money per click in exchange for the hope of a sale and commission. If you want to know how to get banned from Adsense just join one of these. I would hope Google and YPN can detect and stop this type of click fraud.

From the Traffic Exchange Site: “Your Adsense, Adbrite, Clicksor etc… website Will Instantly Be Displayed to Thousands of interested viewers eager to read your site and click your ads For FREE, and It Only Takes 60 Seconds to Get Started! Full information is given to members. Please note that we are more of a community and are dedicated to helping each other succeed. Please only join if you are willing to earn a lot of money by helping others succeed! We are not a regular traffic exchange, we are a group of website owners helping each other to earn a good income with each others websites.”
This program is free to join. :-(

Source: SitePoint Forums – The ultimate SCUM! “Today I have visited this website which seems to be a traffic exchange program, and they promise to give you a boost to your earnings, but they don’t give more information on how their program works. So I signed up to see what is this all about. Well these folks are having an auto surf program… They click the ads that exist on every page that they auto surf! I think this is a very big scum and someone has to do something for it, because they actually steel money from advertisers, and this is of course a big problem for publishers too.”
