New Affiliate Marketing Social Network Launches Today
A new Social Network just hit the scene today for affiliate marketers and merchants who want to connect in more meaningful ways. The 1st affiliate social network I know of to launch was one my 5 Star Forum Moderator Stephen launched on My Space. I just tried the link and it looks like this group is no longer live. Then during the last Affiliate Summit in January, Richard Lewis launched the 1st dedicated stand-alone affiliate network, called ReturnOnAffiliate. I’ve recently started getting more active there and it’s a great place to network.
The new social network that was launched today is for registrants of the Affiliate Summit. Shawn Collins decided to offer this as a place for Affiliate Summit attendees to connect before, during and after the shows. Shawn reports over at the Affiliate Tip Blog:
“We’ve set it up so you can find folks to network with in a number of ways, including segmentation by industry role (affiliate, merchant, network, etc.), zip code, country, employer(s) and school(s) attended.
Other features include private and instant messaging, message boards, shared bookmarks and journals, industry groups, events, and free classifieds for relevant services and job openings.
The Affiliate Summit Social Network is available as a value add to Affiliate Summit attendees. Please do not apply to the network if you are not going to be attending the upcoming conference in Orlando (July 9-11).”
