Rumor has it that Experian is buying Affiliate Fuel. What’s with all the big companies buying up affiliate companies lately??? 1st CGI buys Kowabunga (which made lots of sense and seemed to be a good fit) – now Experian is buying Affiliate Fuel? Affiliate Fuel is not that big of a player IMHO. I don’t get the connection here at all.

Adbumb just posted that rumor today in their newsletter. I wondered if it was true. I never know whether to believe stories I read in Adbumb – so much sarcasm. Then I read about it in post over at
WebMasterWorld – AffiliateFuel.com acquired by Experian and it sounds like it’s true.

So what big company wants to swoop in to buy 5 Star??? The bidding starts at $5 Million.
