The new version 1.1.1 of Performancing for Firefox was just released today which fixes the “save to draft” option. This was the missing feature that was holding me back from using this awesome blogging tool. I’ll fire up the new version this weekend and if it does everything I think it will, look out!

I have done some consulting in the past for Performancing and Nick asked me to Beta test the 1st version of Performancing for Firefox, but I didn’t have a chance to at the time. I did finally download the 1st version but it did not do exactly what I needed. The main thing it was missing for me was the ability to post to drafts on my WordPress Blog. I have tried a few desktop blogging apps, but so far none have done exactly what I want so I keep using Press-it and blogging directly to WordPress but I know there has to be a better way to do it.

Well the new upgraded Firefox extension launched today with Draft support as well as enhanced Technorati tagging support and Delicious integration. I have a feeling this new Firefox blogging extension will do exactly what I want.
