I’d like to turn you on to a FREE “blogging for dollars” tool. For monetizing your blog it’s perfect. If you have a tech blog for instance, even if you are syndicating others content you could set it up so every instance of the word computer, digital camera, iPod, etc. goes to your Buy.com affiliate link. Or the word Adsense can go to your “How to make money with Adsense” affiliate link, etc.

There is an affiliate program called ContextCashthat is growing in popularity that basically does the same thing as far as adding automatic links, however they charge 97 set-up and 37 a month. The tool I’m about to share with you is FREE and works great - but only works with Word Press blogs.

Auto Links is really nice WordPress plug-in that has a cool admin panel that makes it very easy to add new words and phrases that will be auto linked to the affiliate program of your choice. If you are an AMAZON affiliate it’s even easier because you can add your Amazon affiliate ID and it will automatically plug it in to all of your links.

You can see it in action above. I’ve linked the phrase “affiliate programs” to my main site for informational purposes. When I mention the phrase affiliate network it automatically ads my affiliate link to Link Connector. Notice I’m using the little “linkout” icon to show its an auto link. You can use another image or just a plain link. Mouse over to see the link structure. Notice it only links on the 1st instance of the word, so it won’t fill your whole blog with links and make it look too messy.
