Pay Per Call Affiliate Tracking – 150 Affiliate Networks to be Empowered
If there is one thing affiliates hate, it’s LEAKS, especially 800# phone leaks. In this 1st to market move, 150 Affiliate Networks can now offer “Pay Per Call” affiliate tracking to merchants so that affiliates can be paid commissions on orders taken my phone instead of online.
I remember when I managed the Irvs Luggage Affiliate Program a couple years ago, we were one of the 1st few merchants to implement 800# phone tracking to ensure affiliates get paid for all of their efforts, even when customers ordered by phone. It was a big hit with affiliates and 800# phone tracking grew to be a signal to affiliate that certain merchants were especially affiliate-centered and pro-active.
As soon as I started reading recent news about the budding “Pay Per Call” industry, especially once Google jumped into the market, I hoped that someone in the affiliate marketing industry would find a way to leverage the technology for affiliate tracking.
