Wow, this seems very interesting. For those that earn money online, affiliate losses are likely one major frustration they experience. Personally, I don't make a lot of money online, although I do use affiliate marketing to make some money. I will experience up to 150 clicks to an affiliate site with no sort of reimbursement. This company seems to be addressing the issue head on. About time someone does!

Hi Linda,
Thanks for the kind words! We're really excited about the launch of Skimkit, which we think will tempt more affiliates to use our service.

Our publishers were asking us the question: "Skimlinks is cool, but how do I know what to link to? e.g. if I am writing a piece on my kitchen accessories blog about Italian designer kettles under $200, which merchant/product do I link to to earn affiliate commissions via Skimlinks?"

So we aggregated thousands of merchant product feeds to provide a searchable index of 'affiliatizable' products in a nice desktop tool, which can filter by price/merchant, so you'll know you can link to Alessi kettles at Bloomingdales.com and earn an affiliate commission (instead of linking to them at Barneys.com where you can't earn a commission). We even show conversion rates in Skimkit, so if Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus are stocking the same product you'll immediately know which one to link to.

The idea is that you focus on writing great content, while the Skimkit tool helps you to link to relevant products quickly and easily, both a time-saver and value-add to your content.

We'd be really interested in any feedback from affiliates on ideas that will make Skimkit useful for you. We've already got some new additions coming up to help spice up your content, so I'd recommend checking it out!
