Merchants, if you think you can get away with cheating your affiliates, think again! Here’s a GREAT example of ethics in affiliate marketing, being enforced by the affiliate community.
A merchant launched an affiliate contest and then it sounds like they cheated affiliates out of their winnings. To top it off, next they made up an implausible story to try to cover it up. Affiliates pulled together to unveil the wrong-doing and the affiliate network got involved.

That is absolutely amazing that this happened. Sounds like someone’s first foray into affiliate marketing did not go so well. I suppose this is the great part of being a part of a community, isn’t it?
