Important Affiliate Tax Issues in Colorado, Virginia, New Mexico, More
The PMA (Performance Marketing Association), Affiliate Advocacy and AbestWeb are doing a really great job of keeping up with all the various proposed advertising tax bills that threaten affiliates in numerous states. In case you missed any of the recent updates I wanted to list them all here.
If you are a resident of any of these states you need find out what you can do to fight these unfair tax bills that could threaten your livelihood. Colorado is the most critically important time-wise is. They have a hearing coming up on Wednesday, so the troops in CO need to mobilize quickly!

Affiliate Advocacy Map of Nexus Legislation – It’s an almost impossible job to keep up with all the changes in every state, but Melanie Seery does a great job of keeping us up to date and this map is a quick way to see which states are on high alert. Mississippi Now Up at Bat – Affiliate Advocacy There’s some really important info so head over to read it! This bill has no threshold at all, so I hope this does not set a precedent for other states.
