I’m sure affiliates went to bed last night with visions of big checks dancing in their heads. I hope your Cyber Monday sales were strong!

Even though Cyber Monday gets all the buzz, it’s probably not going to be THE biggest shopping day of the season. So if your numbers were good yesterday, they should only get better as we get closer to Christmas. This year, Monday December 7th is predicted to be the biggest online shopping day of the year and the 2 Mondays after that should be strong as well.

Even though Cyber Monday is not typically the biggest shopping day of the season it’s an important indicator of how seasonal sales will go. So how are Holiday shopping stats shaping for the year? According to Coremetrics. 2009 Cyber Monday sales were up 13.7 percent over Cyber Monday 2008. So I’d say considering the economy things are looking pretty good so far this year.
