I’d hate to be a network. Always so many compaints. Here are some recent ones about Linkshare that include missing payments and lack of support. But of course like with any forum thread there is a mix of opinions and some affiliates are doing fine with LS. (Note to LS, the subject is part of the forum thread title – not my words.) ViciousSummer kicks this thread off:

Am I crazy, or does LinkShare suck?
I used to get small checks monthly from Linkshare.com and it seems that they are no longer being cut, even though commissions are being made. I tried to check my “payment history” and it only allows you to check from Feb 2005 – Mar 2001. Wtf is up with linkshare?!

Shawn says: “Yeah, they suck… their payments are sporadic at best. Sometimes it takes 8 months to get paid… sometimes only 2. {shrug} I just forget about them and then when I actually get a check it’s a nice surprise.”

The Big Deal however replies: “I keep hearing that a lot of people are unhappy but I have had a really good experience so far (since June.) I mainly use Premium Partners so that probably helps keep payments more consistent and timely.”

So it seems sticking with premium partners is a good strategy. Read the rest of the 3 page thread over at DP then weigh in on the topic over there or in our 5 Star forums. Does LinkShare suck?
