Affiliate Fraud is an affiliate manager’s worst enemy and fighting fraud is one of the most time consuming tasks managers face on a day-to-day basis. There are 2 primary types of affiliate fraud that need to be dealt with. 1) Fraudulent affiliate applications – AMs with big programs get tons of fake apps every day. 2) Sales/lead fraud – after the sign-up process, sales and leads need to be monitored for all types of fraudulent activity.
