RingRevenue Affiliate Call Tracking – Track Calls Like Clicks
A new pay per call solution is available for affiliate networks, so sales made offline via phone can more easily be tracked back to affiliates.
RingRevenue has created the only pay-per-call platform built specifically for the affiliate network market that allows advertisers and agencies to track calls like clicks. They have partnered with 4 of the 10 top affiliate networks including Commission Junction.
In a Reuters article about RingRevenue today, the following stat was shared. “While a website visitor who clicks on an ad will then make a purchase less than 5 percent of the time, callers convert to customers at a rate of 30-50 percent…” For obvious reasons bigger ticket items often result in more phone calls and phone closes and many times affiliates just miss out on those sales altogether.
According to RingRevenue…
The opportunities for affiliate networks and the advertisers that use them are huge:
• 90% of the $300 billion annual ad spending every year is offline. This platform enables affiliate networks to access that spending.
• Consumers tend to research big ticket or complex items online and then buy them offline. The platform encourages affiliates to offer higher margin products knowing they will still get the commission if a sale is made via phone.
• With RingRevenue’s proprietary call quality-processing engine advertisers get higher quality calls
Here’s a press release about their new venture funding with more information about the service and how RingRevenue is working with Commission Junction.

We, RevUpNet, just finished launching our first client on CJ’s Pay-Per-Call platform and have been very impressed with the comprehensive solution RingRevenue has provided. We’ve been blown away by the flexibility the platform provides when it comes to pricing calls and managing call-based campaigns. Our last test before taking our campaign live exceeded our expectations, the reports not only have some of the best UI available, but they also reported within seconds of call events occurring. Their complete feature set makes it possible for our clients to offer generous commissions per-call.
We’re looking forward to using this technology as a tool to help drive incremental sales and to attract new publishers to our clients affiliate programs. You can sign up for CJ’s Pay-Per-Call at http://www.cj.com/paypercall.

Hi Michael,
Thanks so much for the additional information. Great to hear from someone that is actually using RingRevenue’s solution via CJ’s Pay-Per-Call platform. Thanks too for the CJ link I had not seen it before.

Thanks for the article Linda. I would add that add that call tracking also provides new revenue opportunities for affiliates to provide actual phone leads. With some services Affiliates can get paid for a simple “one field form submit” (if they use click to call), or for a call (after confirming via a simple IVR they are interested in the advertisers products or services.) In addition to bigger ticket items, advertisers in the ’services’ (particularly financial services) can also motivate affiliates to send them in-bound calls.

We have been working with them in our MediaTrust Labs and have been very impressed. this is a incredibly well designed platform. We can now allow the consumer choose a new way to interact with our advertising partners and allow our affiliate partners to participate in the revenue.
BTW calls have a 75% conversion rate…
