Excellent post. I like the 'thinking outside the box' and that is probably true for most successful people whether they affiliate marketers or ... lawyers. I like the thought that rules were made essentially to tell you what you can’t do, NOT what you can do.

I really liked the overview here, I will try and bounce over and read the whole piece

much respect

This is so true!

I work full time on my affiliate business and it took me several years on learning to focus.

Down below I would like to give a few tips on some things I live by.

A couple of tips:

Delete 99% of the guru mails before you even open them; have they ever made you alot of money? Probably not.

Make sure you pick your project wisely and finish what you are doing. The last 10% will feel as long a the first 90%, just keep that in mind and work until you are finsihed.

Don't let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do, stay away from distractions as much as you can. To always know what your competitors are up to is not necessary, it might even affect your creativity.

Finish your plan, I mean the plan you had in mind at start, you cannot even let your project fail if you don't finish and if you don't finish you are 100% going to fail.

Good Luck
