I’ve been watching this progress since it was Shoemoneyads and give kudos to Jeremy for getting AuctionAds launched. Auctionads is also partly owned by MediaWhiz (who recently purchased TextLinkAds).

Love the fact that the affiliate referral program is built right in. Smart thinkin’ Shoe! Plus they are CURRENTLY paying out 100% of Ebay commissions to AuctionAds publishers. Funny Jeremy hasn’t announced this yet over at ShoeMoney, since it’s his baby. But I think he’s traveling. So TechCrunch scooped the story.

See SAMPLE ADS - sidebar (bottom right).

When I created the ad bank I could not get the keyword targeting to work. I used KW “affiliate site” and at 1st it seemed to just show what it wanted to instead of what I selected - at 1st it was showing PURSES. FYI after hitting refresh on this page a few times, now it’s found auctions related to the keywords. (Oops, just replaced code and now it’s not finding the right keywords again.)

Even though it just came out of beta and looks like they have some more work to do, the AuctionAds ads look good and this could be another source of income for bloggers and affiliates that don’t want to join CJ or that want an easier solution for creating eBay ad banks.

I wrote the blog above in a rush, as I get more info I’ll add it to the forum thread.
