I know lots of affiliates and pro bloggers use Brian Gardner’s Revolution Themes for WordPress. I know Ros Gardner did at one point. Not sure if she still does, but she’s a frequent reader of the 5 Star blog, so she may comment and let us know. Quite possibly some of you have it on your to-do list to buy one for a new blog or site you have in the planning stages.

The bad news – All the current Revolution Themes will cease to be available for sale, after 10/31. There will be no way to get one, but if you buy now or already own, you will still get ongoing support.

The GOOD news – Revolution Themes are going open source, as in FREE. New Revolution Themes will be available on a new site. Here are some sneak previews of the themes that are coming. healthy lifestyle or feminine theme ::
photography/portfolio theme :: grungy/media type theme.

So as you can see, even though they will be free they will still be the high quality themes people expect from Brian. Keep an eye on Brian’s blog for more news on the upcoming themes.
