		<description>Hi Linda,

I just finished reading the article at Internet Retailer, but I wonder how much of it may be relevant to the great majority of affiliate marketers who are not in the very top tier of producers.

I was looking for actionable items that I could put into production, but didn&#039;t find anything that would fit my efforts. I know I can&#039;t start bidding on hundreds of thousands of keywords (or more) in a search engine marketing campaign.

On the other hand it was good seeing the statistics that &quot;79% of online retailers participate in affiliate marketing and 64% say they&#039;ll place increased priority on affiliate marketing this year.&quot; That bodes well for most of us.

Also interesting is the increased attention merchants are applying to their affiliate programs because of the economic downturn. However, I wonder how much that will benefit those of us who don&#039;t participate in &quot;discounts, coupons, rewards and points programs.&quot;

This may be a good thing for affiliate marketers who target products in the consumer goods niches, but only marginally helps someone like me who markets to the marketers.

Even so, it was an interesting article and I want to thank you for pointing to it.

Have you found anything in that article that you can directly apply to your marketing efforts?

Act on your dream!
