Affiliate Summit East 2008 in Boston is well under way. Yesterday I started gathering up the best live blogging reports, news, pics and videos from Affiliate Summit and posted everything as I found it in our new Affiliate Summit Forum.

Then I realized lots of people read my blog and not my forum (and vice versa). So at the risk of posting duplicate content and wearing out my carpal, I’m just going to try to keep the info up in both places. The forum is easier to add info to, more interactive and easier for others to post updates. So the forum will be more up-to-the minute and as I find things I’ll add them there. The blog will be more of a once a day update, with new things I find added later.

I was anxious to hear about the New York Tax Meeting but as of last night was not able to find much in-depth info, besides this good overview from Trish. I’m sure more info will be available when Mel, Kevin and others get a chance to post. Trish’s post: NY Tax Laws - Issues & Solutions

The PMA had a 4 hour organizational meeting on Saturday. Peter Figueredo from Netexponent has a good overview of the meeting and some tidbits about other pre-Summit events he attended. Affiliate Summit Day 0 Recap

Trish has a good overview of the Affiliate Classroom Live event, the AffSpot get-together and the roasting of Connie Berg.

Brad Waller just made a good post over at Revenews about the PMA meeting, the Affiliate Summit Mentoring Program and shares a cool story about Affiliate Marketing: The Shirt Off My Back.

The Shareresults team made it and got their booth set up. Saturday they hit the Buy.at party, the meet market & the ShareaSale party. Julia’s update.

Affiliate Summit PICTURES:

Triss Hussey, as always, has a fantastic Summit photo stream going.

Here is Shawn’s photo stream. There are lots of great pics from different parts of the event.

John Chow has a nice set of Affiliate Summit and a video too.

This year so many are blogging that it’s a little hard to keep up with everything. So many great reports and pictures already! Here are a few of the good ones I’ve found so far from day 0 (Saturday) and day 1 Sunday. After a few blogs start reporting good info today, I’ll start a new post for day 2.

Feel free to add anything from Saturday or Sunday to the comments here or PREFERABLY at the forum in this thread - Day 1 Highlights.

I’ll start posting day 2 highlights in the forum as I find them and then will post an overview here once I have enough info to fill a blog post.
