Recently I’ve been reading about Harrison Gevirtz, a 15 year old super affiliate that has his own media company and has a goal of becoming a millionaire this year. Harrison owns CPA Share and blitzlocal.com. I don’t know Harrison and have never spoken to him, just know that stories of super young affiliates are inspirational to many aspiring affiliates, so thought I’d share.

In researching his story, I discovered today is Harrison’s 16th birthday, so I decided I’d save this blog entry and post it on his birthday. Below is a video interview from MediaTrust and a blog interview with Harrison from Pepperjam.

Pepperjam “Meet the Affiliates” #6: Introducing Harrison Gevirtz

#7 KRIS: Do you feel that being “only” 15 years old has been an asset or a liability as an affiliate marketer? Why or why not?

HARRISON: “Being 15 is a huge liability and every day I wish i were 18, or 21. I have people take me for a complete idiot who believe they can just play me to get info out of me etc. I won’t lie I have trusted people whom I shouldn’t have and that’s why I say I’m still learning. People who have done business with me for a while do realize that I am not the stupid 15 year old they initially thought I was But I do have people not trust me because of my age, and people tend to treat me like a KID not a business acquaintance. It really sucks!

Hi Harrison, I don’t know you, but Happy Birthday! I hope being a 16 year old affiliate doesn’t suck quite as bad! ;-) Best of luck with hitting your millionaire goal this year!
