Which Country Could Be a Goldmine for Smart Affiliates?
Derek over at Click Consultants wrote a great blog over the weekend about global affiliate marketing. He made some good points about affiliate marketing in the UK and Canada. I think probably more affiliates are tuned into and taking advantage of UK marketing opportunities. I don’t hear as much talk about affiliate marketing in Canada. But based on the quote below from Search Marketing Standard and the fact that Derek says pay per click prices are lower in Canada, if I were an affiliate I would be looking into this market.

I read a report the other day in Search Marketing Standard that said: “The latest PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Entertainment and Media Outlook predicts that online ad spend will grow faster in Canada than anywhere else in the world over the next five years!”
24 Million Canadians are currently online which is equivalent to 73% of the population of Canada! 85% of these households are running on a high-speed internet access.”
So go get ‘em boys and girls. And if you make bank in Canada, send Derek a finder’s fee or buy him a beer at the next conference!

I think that another opportunity represented by the Canadian marketplace is that users are very similar to US users and able to easily make purchases from US advertisers.

I think India is another big and untapped market for Affiliate marketing. As i am based in India i can comfortably say there are not many or any good affiliate network operating in India( there are affiliate network but i am saying good and proly manage and marketed).
