Prosper202 PPC Tracking Launches - Free from Tracking202
Prosper202 just launched in Beta and comes to us from Wes Mahler and the team that developed Tracking202, a highly regarded PPC keyword tracking solution. Some affiliates were afraid that if they used Tracking202, the Tracking202 team could potentially steal all their data and mine their best keywords, since it’s a hosted solution. So even though the company initially didn’t plan to launch a self hosted version, due to overwhelming user feedback, they have. Unbelievably, just like Tracking202, Prosper202 is FREE. Wes blogged this launch info:
Say Hello to Prosper202, (Tracking202 and Export202 Self-Hosted), and were giving it all away! “Prosper202 is a self-hosted PPC tracking solution, it is the same code used on Tracking202…We originally launched T202 with the idea that we would never give away the software as a self-hosted application. But we received lots of feedback from users requesting we make a self-hosted version.
So how much is Prosper202? We are giving it all away for free. We have decided to make Prosper202 free for the same reason we made Tracking202 free. We are excited for the opportunity to help thousands of affiliates earn more money and make an impact on someones future.”

I can’t wait to see if they update it with a way to import Adwords data. It would also be cool if they could include a way to import sales data from specific affiliate companies, similar to the way HexaTrack does. But for now, it’s a great free tool.

Hi Stephan,
Mark had some features he wanted added too and the Tracking202 team seems pretty anxious to incorporate new features based on user feedback.
I hadn’t heard of Hexatrack before, so many new tools!

Hexatrack is hosted and a paid service but it does a good job. I like software that runs on my computer or site much better though. I wrote my own in Filemaker, but it’s not as seamless as I want it to be. You can be sure I will be waiting for updates on this software.
