Free SEO Optimized WordPress Themes
Just discovered a nice little resource for affiliates and bloggers.

SEO Wordpress Themes - “These search engine optimized WordPress themes have been checked for hidden links, errors, and have modified them to be more efficient with Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. Note: These themes will work best on sites that use the All-In-One Seo Pack plugin for WordPress.”
One I found particularly interesting, not for looks but for function is: Courtney’s new version of the Keyword Sniper 1.0 WordPress theme. “Dateless Sniper 1.0 is just like the original Keyword Sniper, except I have removed all references to dates. People that visit a site using this theme will have no way to determine when posts were written.”
How could this dateless version be used? For Wordpress sites that you don’t want to look quite as blog-like. For sites that aren’t updated often, so you don’t want readers to know the post dates. For article sites where the date isn’t important, you just want to post and archive lots of articles.

Thanks for the themes, I have been looking for something like this for a long time, most wordpress themes have very bad use of the h tags, bold etc so this works great for me.

I use themes by Brian Gardner. I know there’s much more to SEO than just the theme but I’ve always ranked well using them so they must be SEO friendly. A couple of examples are .. http://www.gadgetheaven.co.uk and http://www.freetickets.org.uk

Linda, you’re right, I should have added that link to Brian’s themes. Brian’s main WP themes can be found at http://www.revolutiontheme.com but these aren’t free ones. They are however, very good. Check out the Showcase section, especially in a few weeks when Brian tells me he’s adding my Gadget Heaven site
