She Makes Bucketloads of Cash as She Travels the Globe
If you’ve ever wished you could travel the world and still “make bucketloads of cash” you’ll find this interview with Kirsty McCubbin pretty inspiring. One of the things like really like about reading Kirsty’s blog, AffiliateStuff, is that you never know where she’ll be next.
Her New Year post shows some pictures from her 2007 travels, including this one; Kirsty in a spa overlooking a tropical rain forest in Australia.
She sums up what her affiliate marketing lifestyle over the past year was like by saying:
“…to be honest 2007 was an absolute blur and much of it involved me visiting some of the most exciting places in the world.
So I can encapsulate my year thus. I ran my affiliate business at the same time as travelling the world. During my 2007 tax year I achieved a 400% increase in turnover working 3 days a week and visited Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand for a total of 10 and-a-half glorious months before heading home on a 6 week jolly via Fiji, Hawaii, San Francisco, Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon, and finally NY.“
So now that I’ve given you a little overview of Kirsty’s vagabond affiliate journeys, head over to her interview with Chris Frost. You’ll find out how much money she makes (a hint anyway), how she does it and what her affiliate earnings have done for her lifestyle.
When asked her definition of Super affiliate and whether she is one, she says” No, I am merely ‘pretty good’ and simply make bucketloads of cash.” Well Kirsty, that makes you a SUPER affiliate in my book!
She also answers some great interview questions like: Where will you be as an affiliate in 12 months time? What achievement in your life as an affiliate are you most proud of? Whats the best bit of advice you can give to an aspiring affiliate?
Great interview, wonderful insight and very inspiring. Head over to read it.

Awesome post! The female Super Affiliates must be hidden treasures! I think nearly every Super Affiliate blog I read is by a male. It is nice to see a woman shining in affiliate marketing!

Thanks Debbie.
“I think nearly every Super Affiliate blog I read is by a male.”
I know there aren’t as many female super affiliates, but I know many that are. They just don’t feel the need to wave big checks and rub Calacanis the wrong way!
“It is nice to see a woman shining in affiliate marketing!”
Couldn’t agree with you more!

Hey Linda, Thanks so much for featuring my interview. I really enjoyed answering the questions everyone wants to hear.
I’m currently back in Australia and have just rented out a beach apartment on the Sunshine Coast! It’s a hard affiliate life, but might I add that I think my lifestyle is achievable by just about anyone. That is the shining beauty of affiliate marketing!

Great inspiration and motivation, which I know is your first love. Kirsty could be a poster child and case study for Tim Ferris’s “Four Hour Work Week” and Yanik Silvers blog, “Internet Lifestyle”.
I think there are many successful female internet entrepeneurs out there. I, personally, see them everywhere. The Internet is truly an Equal Opportunity “Employer”.
