Yes I think many could make more as affiliates than managers. Shawn himself recently announced he was retiring as an AM to be a full-time affiliate (plus running Affiliate Summit).

But you know those that can - do! Those that can&#039;t teach or support or manage or become consultants.  ;-)

I was looking at a list of good jobs in Fortune the other day and discovered that the financial companies that made it to the list paid the least average pay whether hourly or salary. Not official stats, just my observation. It seems akin to affiliate managers making less than some of their top affiliates. 50-60k to manage in house. It&#039;s better than what I made at my day job, but I think my affiliate sales this year will top that.</description>
