For those of you who have been promoting hosting for a while, you’d know it’s all well and good for a web host to offer high commissions; but the critical element is how well does the hosting affiliate program convert.

EPC is a very important figure to hosting affiliates – it signifies earnings per hundred clicks.

ThinkHost’s EPC rate for January 2007 (to the 13th) so far is a whopping $90! Compare that to the recent performance of other web hosts on *any* of the major affiliate networks – you’ll find that this is one of the highest EPC rates around!

That EPC has dropped since my first report, mainly due to the way a few newer affiliates are running our offer, but as mentioned – $90 EPC is certainly nothing to be sneezed at – we’re beating most of the really big guys!

In addition to what Linda’s mentioned; one of our strengths is retention and long term relationships with clients. Therefore, the $100 we pay out to you may mean we make little (or nothing) for the first term client is with us, but because so many stay, we’ll make our money on those clients later .

As we’ve been around for so long (1999), we already have a decent sized client base – so I can assure you that we’re not going anywhere for the forseeable future .
