The intense Holiday sales typically don’t even start hitting heavy until tomorrow, Cyber Monday. But already both Linkshare and CJ have been having all kinds of servers issues for the past couple of days. Granted the networks have intermittent problems sometimes, so these issues may not be related to increased activity from all the affiliates madly prepping for the Holidays, but you have to admit it’s really bad timing. Linkshare has been up and down or slow and stuck at various times this week.

CJ has had a 500 Servlet Exception error in the Account Manager since yesterday. For a company like CJ to have a server down for this long, the busiest time of the year is pretty crazy. Even small companies have site monitoring and tech staff that handles problems on the weekend. I 1st saw the 500 Servlet Exception CJ problem reported at 12:55PM Friday over at DigitalPoint. And 24 hours later some people are still having problems. It’s fairly intermittent and sometimes you can get in in various parts of the world and other times you can’t. Affiliates need to get in there and get things done. Hopefully they have someone working on it as we speak.
