Ultimate XRAY Vision for Affiliate KeyWord Conversion Tracking
How do you know which keywords are converting on your PPC or natural search campaigns? More importantly is there a way find out what KW are selling WITHOUT having to get the merchant to add special tracking code in their cart for you, which most won’t do anyway?
It can track and manage every affiliate campaign you’re running and shows you exactly which keyword and which engine generated the order. Almost more importantly it shows you which KW are WASTING YOUR MONEY! Without any special tracking code merchant-side. It isn’t one of those spying tools either and there is nothing black hat about it.
Note: Post removed. Have had customer complaints about the product that were never resolved and no reply to me or the customer to attempt to rectify the problem.

what safeguards do we have that keywordxray won’t take our data and use it for their own purposes?

Hi Johnny,
That’s a really good question to always ask when it’s a hosted solution. I don’t know the answer, but hopefully Wesley will see this and come over to address it. I’ll see if I still have his email and try to get him to comment.

that’s probably the #1 reason that’s stopping most affiliates from signing up. you spend all this time and hardwork on your keywords and the possibility of it being compromised would be enough to hold most back from joining.
they should make it an actual program you can download and run on your own computer and for the paranoid (like me) that computer wouldn’t be connected to the computer at all so i can sleep good at night.

I forgot to shoot him an email. Let me do that now.

Hi Linda,
Did you ever get a response to the above mentioned? I had the same feelings towards sigining up b/c I don’t want my keywords compromised.
Thanks

Hey Adam. I just shot him an email asking him to come and give you guys more info about that issue. So hopefully he will be over.
You raise some important questions so I want you to get the answers directly from him.

Hello,
This was one of the very 1st questions I was asked when I first created KeywordXRAY for the general public so I understand the concern you have.
The fact is that KeywordXRAY as a company is just like any other service company that you use in your business that would contain data that you wouldn’t want the general pubic to know about.
Look at shopping carts. They know everything about your business. If you use their tracking they even know which keywords or sources of traffic generate the orders.
They would know which affiliates are generating the orders. They have all the contact data if you’re using their Auto Responder services.
They could take that data and share it with someone or start several other sites on the side. But they don’t…why?
Because that’s not their business.
With XRAY, that’s not our business either.
We have 1000s of users and there is no way to go through everyone to find just those that are making a profit.
We don’t have the time or the desire to do that. Our objective is to have a great service with 1000s and 1000s of happy customers that understand they are blind without our service.
The only reason it’s hosted is it make support a lot easier and allows for us to continue to upgrade and update the program.
In fact, I would bet that the few other providers with hosted solutions would tell you the same thing.
That being said, it all comes down to trust. Do business with someone you trust.
If you don’t feel you can partner with us then that’s fine but I would hope that you find a good tracking partner as knowing which keywords and which engines are generating your orders will make a major difference in your commission checks!
I hope this helps!
Let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks so much for coming over to answer a tough question. Makes perfect sense to me. I think weighing potential risk against potential reward for a service like this is essential. Then after that it really largely comes down to trust.

I’ve been looking at all the keyword tracking software.
Has anyone heard of keywordradar.com?
They seem to have a ton of features added to it, a lot more of what I see keywordxray giving, and no monthly fee.
Just wanted to see if anyone has tried them out.
Thanks,
Frank.

Hey, Frank. I’ve tried Keywordradar. It’s really easy to use. Now, I can run a keyword report “by Adsense Site” and get rid of the loser spam sites.
