I just got a cold call from a parasite. That’s a 1st for me! Some guy called from a company that’s considered parasitic, asking if he could set up a meeting between me and “some of his people” at the upcoming Affiliate Summit conference in Vegas. I replied “do you have any idea who you are talking to?” I then went on to tell him my views on parasitic, adware advertising and what the affiliate community thinks of his company’s marketing practices. He didn’t seem to know what a parasite was. Poor guy, he may have been new and didn’t realize what he was getting into or else he was green or playing dumb. At any rate, I sure felt lots better after telling him what I thought! Don’t think I have ever talked to a parasite before. :-)
