House O.K.s Two Spyware Bills for Senate to Sort Out
Last year, the House approved a spyware bill but the Senate did not act on it, but recently some states and the federal government have sued alleged spyware makers. The just House voted 395 to 1 to impose jail sentences of up to 2 years. Violators could face fines up to $3 million per incident. So the Senate has 2 anti-spyware bills to choose from according to MarketingVox.
