Imagine being the ONLY affiliate for a hot selling niche product. Now imagine making commission on EVERY SINGLE SALE the merchant makes - even if you didn’t refer the customer.

This is BRILLIANT! If you are an out-of-the-box thinker and a PRO affiliate, web designer or SEO then this idea could make you a mint!!! Newbies should skip the rest of this post.

Often at the 5 Star affiliate forum and others I have affiliates tell me they’ve found the perfect niche product but either the merchant is not selling online or the merchant has no affiliate program set up.
Sometimes its a very cool product that just has a brochure type site set up with no way to order online. Sometimes it’s a whole site filled with great niche products, but no affiliate program.

They ask me how they can get the merchant to set up a quick easy affiliate program at low cost, just for them. Heck I’ve even seen sites where I thought WOW I could sell a ton of products for that company, but could not think of an easy way to set it up. I also know there are many designers, blog developers and SEOs that do a job for a client that has a HOT product they aren’t fully monetizing and don’t know how to sell. If you ever find yourself in any of these situations and want to capitalize on it, you need to really read the following article.

Now to “GET” this article you really do need to think outside of the box! Danny is a web designer who had access to the clients site to be able to set everything up, with the merchant’s permission of course. But I can see a variety of ways this could work in other situations you just need to wear your thinking cap when you read it. After you read the blog below, come back for my comments about a couple of important issues. Read 1st or what I say below won’t make any sense.

How To Be The ONLY Affiliate and Get Paid Whether You Refer The Sale or Not

“One day I was looking at a massive paypal account balance that belonged to a client of mine. I was doing freelance web design at the time and I had to set up a few “Order Now” buttons for the books and CDs that this guy sold. They were all hard goods that had to be shipped…

…When I looked at his stats I saw order after order that had come in daily for the last year. His account was so large that I actually called him on the phone to suggest that he shift most of that money into a safer account. The guy was bumping up against six figures and it was just wasting away in a no-interest, paypal account!

I remember sitting there thinking, “I sure would like to be getting a cut every time somebody orders from this guy”. I mean how cool would it be to get paid every single time that someone ordered directly from the merchants own website without even having to make a referral?

It was a daydream, and anyhow it could never be done. At least not legally……….. or could it?”

If a light bulb didn’t go on for you, then don’t read any further, it won’t make sense. However if the info shook the cobwebs out of the old, rusty worn out thought patterns and paradigms you are used to in traditional affiliate and Internet marketing - read on and let me share a couple of key points.

Note: when he set up the link to the Store - the store link was his affiliate link so he got commission for EVERY sale even if he didn’t personally refer it - with the merchant’s permission of course. So it’s a bit of a twist on traditional affiliate programs and you would need to be in a certain relationship or create a relationship to make this happen.

Danny used eJunkie to set this whole thing up and mentions he eats the “small” fee. I’ve checked out eJunkie before but didn’t look at how the affiliate program or fee structure worked. They ONLY charge a monthly subscription fee, no bandwidth cost, no per transaction fee or any other hidden fee. For 10 products it’s only $5 a month and the price goes up minimally from there. PERFECT for a small niche merchant.

The e-Junkie Affiliate Program looks pretty slick and easy too. Merchants can provide affiliates with a hoplink or re-direct type format. They can also offer a Direct Link - BUY NOW button, which affiliates can place on their website and sell the merchant’s product directly from their site. Affiliates get notified for each sale by email. That page also shows the merchant how to set up a “mass payment” file that goes to their PayPal account to make an automatic mass payment to all affiliates.
